Verona is charming town with quiet tree lined streets, a well-kept downtown, and excellent community services. The town is within 20 miles of Manhattan and has a population of approximately 14,000 residents.There are several major roadways nearby including Routes 23, 46 and 3, as well as the Garden State Parkway and Interstate 280. Commuters can ride New Jersey Transit buses or the train from neighboring Montclair.
Verona has four elementary schools serving kindergarten through fourth graders. There is one middle school for students in fifth through eighth grades. Verona High School, selected as a Star High School by the state of New Jersey, serves students in ninth through twelfth grades.
